While at a rally in Philadelphia President Obama had a book thrown at him.  You know this isn't the first time somethings been thrown at a sitting president.  Obama, a book, Bush, a shoe, and Clinton...granny panties.

Columbus Day

So today is Columbus Day in the U.S.  A lot of people don't realize that Columbus actually tweeted about his voyage and discovery..."Really excited about finding this new land...oh cool they have a Starbucks!"

Drill reaches Chile's 33 trapped miners

After 66 agonizing days of drilling into 2000 feet of rock, 33 Chilean miners are finally being rescued.  When asked what's the first thing they're going to do when they get home, the trapped miner's wives say they're looking forward to a bit of drilling of their own. (BOOM...SEX JOKE!) 

And it seems the miners are arguing over who gets to leave first.  I know there's one guy down there feeling very generous...the guy with the wife and the girlfriend waiting on him.  (Nah..nah..guys..you go ahead..I'm in no rush...in fact...it's kinda cozy down here.  I might just stay here another month or so.)
